MINUTES
Annual Board Meeting - June 30, 2004

Presiding: J. William Rewalt, President
Meeting opened at 9 a.m.
Present:
Officers - J. William Rewalt, Jerry Mills, Greg Foster, Dave Whitney and David Rice. Members - Paul Leader.
-With proxies given by absent directors, a quorum was present.
-It was moved, seconded and unanimously passed that Jerry Mills (Rotary Club of Coral Springs, Florida, USA) shall serve as a member of the board of directors until June 30, 2005.
- It was decided to mail membership cards and membership renewals along with the next edition of The Mullet Wrapper. Members may elect to renew for two Rotary years and receive a mailed, hard copy of The Mullet Wrapper for US $30.00, or may choose a free subscription and read The Mullet Wrapper on line.
- The Treasurer's report by David Rice showed the IFFR has $1,150 cash on hand.
- Membership stands at just under 270.
- A lengthy discussion was held concerning Rotary International's centennial convention in Chicago in 2005. It was decided the IFFR would have a booth at the convention and enter a float in the centennial parade.
Bill Rewalt reported that Boone Lure Co. would furnish lures for the booth and other convention purposes. Rewalt will handle the booth reservations when the time comes. Greg Foster will make arrangements for the parade float.
Jerry Mills will look into sponsoring a youth fishing trip in the Chicago area during the centennial convention and will look for one or more Rotary clubs in the Chicago area to help put on the fishing trip.
Mills will provide a laptop computer for use in the convention booth for both presentations and for updating new memberships gained at the convention.
Mills also will look into obtaining IFFR pins and patches prior to the convention.
Foster encouraged other officers to seek sponsorships for Mullet Wrapper advertising and for support of the booth and float efforts at the centennial convention.
- It was decided the next annual board meeting of the IFFR would be held at the centennial convention in Chicago. A specific date, time and location will be announced in advance.
